VERY IMPORTANT
Your student’s academic success is
critical to their participation in band. No-pass, no-play applies
to band participation and events as well as sports. We encourage
you to closely monitor your students progress reports and grades to
ensure their academic success and continued involvement in band.
This includes participation in UIL contests and the Florida trip in
the spring.
Encourage students to take
advantage of tutoring opportunities that are offered by RHS faculty
during lunch periods and after school.
Some students are more willing to
participate in tutoring or “study groups” with other students.
There are a number of band students who can help out. Contact one
of the directors and they will work to set something up.
